What is Landlord Connector?

Landlord Connector is a simple system built to help tenants and Landlords stay connected whether they live 3000 miles away or right next door. The free system allows for easy invoicing, maintenance requests and messaging. In addition to the free property management Landlord Connector also offers a few great services for an affordable fee, including - property listing, leads for sale, and eDocuments.

Why should I join Landlord Connector?

Why do you give property management away for free?

We give property management away because the system was built to solve the simple issue of keeping tenants and landlords connected on the most important general terms. Landlord Connector believes in giving to receive.

Who created the eStore documents?

The eStore documents were created by a host of sources including internally created. They are fully owned by Landlord Connector

Why is the message system limited on the system?

We tried to make the site as simple as possible. We don’t expect that Landlord Connector will become an alternative to email or the phone. The messaging system was created for the sole purpose of linking landlords to tenants and vice versa.

Why can’t I create an invoice?

The invoices only flow in one direction on our site form landlord to tenant.

What happens once I submit a maintenance request?

Once you receive a maintenance request is shows up on your landlord’s control panel. Once they complete the request then they can mark it as complete and it will be reflected as so in your panel.

What do I need to do to connect with my landlord on the system?

All you need to do is establish a Landlord Connector account and send your email/login to the landlord - the will do the rest.

What happens once I submit payment to my landlord?

Once you receive and invoice and then make payment then your landlord will be notified via PayPal that the payment has been received. The Landlord will then go an makr the payment as "paid" in the Landlord Connector system and it will show up as paid in your invoicing system.

What happens once I request a realtor?

Once you request a realtor – up to five realtors will be able to purchase the lead you created. You will be contacted via your preferred method by up to 5 realtors.

I just completed a maintenance request what now?

Now that the maintenance request is complete you should go back to that section in your control panel. You will see an action button that is red. Simply click this button to mark as complete. It will stamp a date. This status will also be reflected in your tenants control panel.

Why should I create a profile on Landlord Connector?

As a Realtor you are always looking for new clients. Landlord Connector is a community that is user generated. By placing your profile on the site and making it active - you are allowing the other users on the site to easily discover you and your properties.

Why should I pay to list my property on the site?

If you are looking to sell or rent a property you should make it public on Landlord Connector. Remember that we have tenants that use our system. These are people that are either renting and looking for their next rental or thinking about buying.

Where does Landlord Connector receive its leads?

The Landlord Connector site is user driven. The tenants and Owner/Managers actually request to be contacted by a realtor matching specific preferences.

How many Realtors can buy a specific lead?

We don’t want our tenants to be overrun by hundreds of Realtors trying to gain their business. That is why only 5 Realtors can purchase any one lead on our system.

Why are my recommended leads gone?

The list of recommended leads is based on your preference settings for the lead system. If you change your preferences it will re-populate your recommended leads. Once leads are purchased they will stay listed under your purchased leads tab.

How do I add a tenant to a property?

To add a tenant to a property simply go to your control panel and click tenant. Here you need to enter the tenants email/login for their Landlord Connector account. So obviously the tenant must establish an account on the system before you can add them as a tenant.

Why do I have to establish a PayPal account to receive payment?

Landlord Connector is not a payment gateway. Remember that you are the one being paid here not us. We felt like there was no reason to be the middle man - this way the money flows right to you.

How do I let my tenant know that the maintenance request is complete?

Once you have completed a maintenance request simply go to the maintenance request section in your control panel and click the action button. It will change to green and be stamped as complete (dated). This will be reflected in your tenant’s panel.

Why would I request a realtor?

If you are looking for someone to show your house it is great to be able to locate a Realtor in a given area. We help match you with the right realtor for any job.
